Hey, guys - i'm back with another trip report, this time on American Airlines [as usual] from Boston to Chicago. If you haven't watched the video, please do so!
As a side note, I planned for this blog - unlike others- so this will be a better one with more pictures.
Here's the check in! -The self service kiosks make the check-in a lot faster and easier
First of all, I want to talk about the seat... I've actually never seen these "new" and "old" american seats. The seat backs and the "bones" or the seat were from the previous American style. However, the seat cushions are like the ones installed on their new Airbus A319s and A321s.
It's 6:00 in the morning with a beautiful sunrise!
There was descent entertainment - overhead monitors. [They showed NBC Universal]
I'd also like to address the fact that there is a great American Airlines entertainment selection for a fee on the website - airborne.gogoinflight.com - This website is only available when you are flying above 10,000 feet on an American Airlines aircraft equipped with wifi.
The food was nice and descent... I found out that the Biscoff tastes good when you put the cookie in the milk. I'm glad that American Airlines is adding free snacks back complimentary.
However, they never attempted to sell any food like the Fruit and Cheese platter, which was unfortunate, as I was pretty hungry. American Airlines, you gotta start selling food on flights less than 3 hours!
Now to a mandatory bathroom visit...
Again, American Airlines provides an average bathroom
Notice the Ashtray [second picture!]
I believe that that's installed so that if someone actually smoked, there's a way to dispose the cigar
Thanks for watching!
